Thanks for the help! But I'm sure I've entered the code properly, since the error is that the code has actually been redeemed. Not sure if you can actually contact steam support with receipts, but it's worth a try if your refund at retailer fails. You could also try contacting steam support with the receipt, but you need to show the entire receipt (including data and time of sale with reference numbers).
If code is written on receipt, contact the store and ask for replacement or refund. You had to scratch off the layer to see the code?

Normally I would just go to my local gamestop and buy a physical card from there but they are currently not accepting cash, so I went to my local safeway to try to find one, but they didn't have one and I bought a gamestop gift card instead, because on their website it says they will still accept gift cards at their stores.
